10 E XPECTATIONS This field trip is an incredible opportunity as well as an incredible responsibility. In order for all students to enjoy this experience to the fullest, we need to feel that students who are attending this field trip can successfully take on that responsibility. Therefore there are expectations that must be met. P.A.W.S. BEHAVIOR ACADEMICS/RESPONSIBILITY ATTENDANCE/PARTICIPATION AT SCHOOL

Academics: * Schoolwork will be completed consistently with effort. Attendance/Participation: * Regular school attendance and participation are necessary for a successful experience. Students not meeting expectations or choosing not to attend this learning experience will be expected to attend school for the normal academic school day.

12 Social Contract A Social Contract is an agreement between group members; in this case between the fifth grade students and teachers. Not only do the students identify community beliefs and values, but the entire Glacier Hills community participates as well. The focus of the Social Contract relates to the common picture that the group identifies regarding what they want to become together. The fifth grader students and teachers have identified the following beliefs. We believe in… P-Practice Responsibility A-Act Safely W-Work Hard S-Stay Respectful In order for students to participate in our Audubon overnight field trip, they must follow our Fifth Grade Beliefs throughout the school year.
