2. 2 CHARTER The SRTC awards subcommittee shall establish and administer award programs in the solid rocket propulsion field to acknowledge major technical, academic, and professional contributions in this area, as required. This subcommittee shall also participate in the selection of the AIAA Wyld Propulsion Award recipient, on a yearly basis, as well as respond to requests for AIAA awards as requested. This subcommittee shall also implement an AIAA SRTC "Best Paper" Awards Program and a student scholarship program awarded on merit and involvement in the field of solid rocket propulsion

3. 3 Honors and Awards Goals Recognizing outstanding achievement is one of the primary responsibilities of the Institute Recognizing the Very Best in Our Industry Recognize students at all levels  College, high school, middle school, and related aerospace clubs and academies  Look to your local section to help Recognition of your profession and your peers cannot happen without YOU!
