Solid Rocket Technical Committee P&E Flowdown  P&E Goals: Make P&E Forum the premier venue for technical content, explore new content delivery methods, enhance membership experience  Implementing a strategy for TC membership growth  Starting up an Awards Nomination Committee to ensure sufficient nominations are received for each major award Does not replace the normal nomination  Goal to develop pool and progression of skilled conference leaders 6

Solid Rocket Technical Committee P&E Flowdown (continued)  SciTech Forum  Jan 5-9, 2015  Gaylord Palms, Kissimmee, FL  Defense  Mar 10-12, 2015 Laurel, MD  Aviation 2015  June 22-26, 2015  Hilton Anatole, Dallas, TX  P&E 2015  July 27-29, 2015  Hilton Orlando, Orlando, FL  Space 2015  August 18-20, 2015  Pasadena Convention Center, Pasadena, CA 7

Solid Rocket Technical Committee SRTC Issues and Discussion Items  Position Paper  US Solid Rocket Industry has been significantly affected in recent years  Relative influence/involvement of international suppliers has increased and is expected to continue  What do we want to say about this?  This is still stalled although RP-21 has formed a very high level committee to address this issue  Awards Committee  P&E Leadership is setting up a committee and would like a person from each TC to act on that committee  College Support  Supported 2 college programs with $1000 awards  Auburn University  University of Arizona – First Place in College Wide Design Day Competition! 8

Solid Rocket Technical Committee SRTC Issues and Discussion Items  Short Course  David Poe will address  Solid Rocket Text Book  David Greatrix will address  Membership  P&E has a membership initiative  I have proposed allowing for “Virtual Members” who are not expected to attend any meetings but may help the TC  Communications  Abstract Review  Webmaster 9

Solid Rocket Technical Committee SRTC Issues and Discussion Items  Winter Meeting LPTC has already changed to only one face to face meeting a year Our attendance at the winter meeting is only ~10-15 Proposal: Change to one face to face meeting at JPC  Wyld Award Nominations due 1 February Not sure what nominations are in the pipeline One from last year will be carried over 10
