13 The Energy Club Initiative ‘Energy Club has been a fantastic method of engaging inactive children in Milton Keynes. The Sports Leaders at the College have been trained as Energy Club leaders and also completed Young Leader/Playmaker Orientation Training. Following this they have delivered Playmaker Training to Year 5s and 6s at local Milton Keynes Primary and Infant school. This enables the Playmakers to support the Energy Club Leaders to deliver Sports Leaders UK Energy Clubs. As Energy Club focusses on Physical Activity rather than Sports Specific it has been very easy for the Energy Club leaders to deliver and any child can participate.’ (Caroline Moran– Milton Keynes College – September 2015)
