CLIA is, next year, going to require compliance every 6 months So… if we were to continue with this method of assessment we would be costing the institution a minimum of: $250,000 X 2 = $500,000! per year This is in addition to all the other required unit specific nursing courses and Annual Nursing Competency courses i.e., ACLS, PALS, Skin Care, EKG etc…….
