7 Supplier Types Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers (RPQS) Preferred Supplier List Trade Services Plant Hire & Equipment Consultancy services Examples - Stationery, Chemicals, Safety Workwear (PPE) & Uniforms Does not guarantee any of amount of workIs an arrangement for an agreed ‘basket of goods’ however no guarantee of quantity. Register exists for a set term usually no more than 2 years Preferred Suppliers are placed for a set term of usually 2+ years The Registers will be in place by October 2014 Council is expects to understand its needs for Preferred Supplier Arrangements by the end of this calendar year Register is created from an advertised public tender Arrangement is created from an advertised public tender

8 LG TenderBox Council have selected LG TenderBox to administer tenders. This tool allows Council staff to publish opportunities and manage responses in an efficient way and be compliant to Local Government Regulations. Suppliers and service providers are encouraged to register on LG TenderBox to receive notification of Council opportunities (Qld State wide…) www.lgtenderbox.com.au www.livingstone.qld.gov.au/tenders
