3. Liberation of France ■Nazis took the city of Paris, France in June 14, 1940. ■France signed an armistice with the Nazis on June 22. ■Set up a puppet government.

4. Liberation of France ■August 18 th, 1944 allied forces were just outside of Paris. ■Workers strike up a resistances movement. ■Commander in charge was Dwight D. Eisenhower. –Liberate Paris –Surround Paris and come back to liberate the city.
