VoIP Cost Comparison  Energy Costs to operate equipment  Technician Repair Time  Training Costs $47,300 Annual VoIP cost does not include: Down time limited only by support skill, parts availability and technician workload VoIP features are not justifiable at additional cost

VoIP – What if’s? If we extend the ToNK VoIP to NKSD, we will relinquish any control we currently have with our phone service. Changes adds, repairs etc. will be done by the Town and billed to SD If the Town decides to upgrade in 2 years, we will be forced to use our budget to upgrade phones when it may not be in our best interest. What SLA will the Town offer the School Department? If there is an outage at 3AM will schools have service the next morning?

NKSD Recommendation  VoIP Features without the cost or overhead  Detailed Billing to allow easy cost center analysis  4 hour SLA Included (Service Level Agreement) Cox Communications  Voice Manager Platform 3 years on market  Makes use of our existing desk sets (phones) and wiring  All support, repairs and updates are vendor responsibility  Any outages are backed by a 4 hour repair agreement

Key Features of Voice Manager  Business Continuity advantages – Call Forward All Calls, for each user 0 Remote access to manage calls, in the event of a blizzard, flood, bomb scare, etc. 0 Auto Attendant – can be used to program announcements (“If you’re calling about school cancellations, please press 5”), and can have a business hours recording and an after hours recording  Simultaneous Ring - Have multiple phones ring when your office number is called. The call connects to the first phone answered.  Unified Messaging – key personnel can receive voice mails via email  Instant Group Call – can be preprogrammed to occur at a specific time, or upon demand; any number can be included, with unlimited participants; can be good for regular staff meetings, etc.  Time Schedule – used for the aforementioned Auto Attendant, but can also be applied to other services (Selective Call Forwarding, Selective Call Acceptance, Call Notify, Priority Alert, etc.)

Key Features of Voice Manager  Find me-Follow Me or Sequential Ring  Call Forwarding Not Reachable  Call Plan – Call Restrictions to limit dialing  Remote Office for at Home Workers
