© 2013 IBM Corporation 15 Encapture Product Overview

© 2013 IBM Corporation 16 Encapture Capture Models – MFP, Desktop and Wizard-based Capture – Transactional Capture – Document Request – Print Stream Capture – Unattended Email and Fax Server Capture

© 2013 IBM Corporation 17 MFP Capture  Native, front-panel integration to major MFP vendors  Common framework utilized across all vendors  User authenticated document capture from shared device  Guided user interface

© 2013 IBM Corporation 18 Web-Based Capture  Thin-client, browser- based capture client  Full capture capabilities, including assembly, manual indexing

© 2013 IBM Corporation 19 Print to Encapture  Enables any printable content from any source, such as internet browser or Adobe Reader, to be captured as an image  Installs as a Windows printer  Selecting printer initiates the Encapture Wizard

© 2013 IBM Corporation 20 Transactional Capture from Business Applications  The Encapture Wizard drives significant efficiency and quality improvements over traditional distributed and central capture use cases, especially when launched in the context of a business transaction.  Capture becomes technology transparent to end users. Line of Business System/Application Indexing Data from calling application auto-indexes documents Classification Wizard prompts user to scan document type by document type, classifying documents Business Rules Enforce collection of required documents at points in time simplifies downstream document review functions

© 2013 IBM Corporation 21 Transactional Capture from Business Applications such as SAP CRM Encapture ® enables true transactional capture by allowing content capture to be launched directly out of business applications. It then enables automated indexing of that content, commits the content to the repository, and initiates workflow when appropriate.

© 2013 IBM Corporation 22 Wizard-Based Capture  Scan or import content using simple, wizard- driven user interface  Capture-enable any line of business system or desktop application  Document-mode prompts user to scan documents by type  Business rules can enforce optional and required document types 1.Doc Types 2.Index Values 1.Doc Types 2.Index Values Database lookups improve indexing accuracy and increase efficiency

© 2013 IBM Corporation 23 Document Request Send requests for documents with secure link that guides end users and customers through the capture process

© 2013 IBM Corporation 24 MFP Document Request  Allows a business application to initiate an Encapture batch on any supported MFP  Multiple batches can be created by the business application and fulfilled at a later point on the MFP  Data is automatically populated from the business application, saving the user time interacting with the device  Authorized users can login any time to an MFP and select any batch that was previously created and is awaiting fulfillment  Simple interface and wizard functionality walk the user through which documents to capture and when  Net result is a seamless integration of the business application with MFP capture and substantial convenience and efficiency for the users

© 2013 IBM Corporation 25  Officer selects the e-mail and sends to Encapture ® Outlook Integration The representative receives an email containing income documents required to decision the loan.

© 2013 IBM Corporation 26 The representative selects the attachments to submit. In this case, the 1040 and W2 were selected. If the email body contained important content, the loan officer could select it as well. Officer identifies the documents to capture Outlook Integration

© 2013 IBM Corporation 27  Document content is specified The representative selects the document types for each attachment. Outlook Integration

© 2013 IBM Corporation 28  Documents are linked to the customer’s application The wizard presents indexing fields for the representative. The information entered can be validated against a system of record, such as the loan origination system. >>> Outlook Integration

© 2013 IBM Corporation 33 Mapping products to Encapture Features

© 2013 IBM Corporation 34 Sample Customer Transaction - 1  Scenario – A Mortgage company has integrated their mortgage origination system with the Encapture Capture Wizard API – 200 loan officers interact with the mortgage origination system which uses the Capture Wizard API to send content to Encapture – 50 of these same loan officers also use the Web Client to occasionally capture content on an ad hoc basis – Content classified through Datacap via Encapture Process Service – Output from Encapture will be sent to FileNet P8  Encapture list pricing – 200 X $300 per Windows Integration Component = $60,000 – 50 X $500 per Web Client = $25,000 – 1 Delivery Service required = $5,000 – 1 Process Service required = $5,000 – 1 Delivery Connector to FileNet P8 = $1,500 – Total = $96,500  Datacap Taskmaster Capture list pricing (Casual user 8:1) – 200 / 8 = 25, add 2 full time users = 27 users = 26 AUVU – $7,320 AUVU x 26 = $190,320  Total scenario list price = $286,820

© 2013 IBM Corporation 35 Sample Customer Transaction - 2  Scenario – A bank with 300 branches has 1 MFP per branch that will run Encapture – Within each branch there will be one workstation running the Encapture Web Client – Output from Encapture will be sent to Datacap for Advanced Capture and QC. – Datacap will send the output to FileNet P8  Encapture list pricing – 300 X $750 per MFP = $225,000 – 300 X $500 per Web Client = $150,000 – 1 Delivery Service required = $5,000 – 1 Delivery Connector to Datacap = $1,500 – Total = $381,500  Datacap Taskmaster Capture list pricing – Using Casual User 8:1 counting devices & users – 300 devices + 300 users = 600 / 8 = 75, add 2 Admin users = 77, = 67 AUVU – $7,320 AUVU x 67 = $490,440  Total scenario list price = $871,940

© 2013 IBM Corporation 36 Sample Customer Transaction - 3  Scenario – A Bank has 780 Branches, each with 1 MFP that will run Encapture – 2 Workstations at each branch will run the Windows Integration Component to support the Encapture Print Driver and sending content to Encapture through the Windows Explorer – All content will be sent from Encapture to Datacap for QC and then from Datacap to FileNet  Encapture list pricing – 780 X $750 per MFP = $585,000 – 2 X $300 per Windows Integration Component per branch, 780 branches = $468,000 – 1 Delivery Service required = $5,000 – 1 Delivery Connector to Datacap = $1,500 – Total = $1,059,500  Datacap Taskmaster Capture (Casual user 8:1 counting devices & users) – 780 devices + 1560 (780x2) users = 2340 / 8 = 292.5 round to 293, add 10 admin/verify users = 303 users = 231 AUVU – $7,320 AUVU x 231 = $1,690,920  Total scenario list price = $2,750,420
