19 Cerebral Ventricles and Cerebrospinal Fluid Cerebrospinal fluid is secreted into the cerebral ventricles, circulated in brain and spinal cord, absorbed into the bloodstream and disposed of as waste. Functions: shock absorption and waste transport.
