1 Aims of the Go Green Workshop A.Identify the levels of knowledge and understanding the children have in relation to: 1.Climate Change. 2.Human contribution to Climate Change. 3.What does Going Green mean? B.Promote awareness on how our behaviour has an impact on our climate. C.Stimulate the children to come up with simple ideas and creative solutions to help tackle Climate Change.

11 Some of the children’s ideas for Going Green Reuse, don’t throw away stuff that’s reusable Reduce, Use computer, TV, tablet and all other electronics less Turn lights, computer, TV and all other electrical appliances off when not in use Recycle Turn down the heating and hot water temperature Turn off the tap when brushing teeth Water, sun and wind can produce energy, use renewable energy in your home Don’t cut down trees, plant trees Save the world, rainforest and animals Do things yourself rather than always relying on machines.
