Please pick up the bin from the workroom before going to the classroom to deliver your lesson. Please return the bin in the same condition for the next class. If the cabinets are running low, please contact Noelle McHone.  Schedule your class sessions ahead of time with your teacher (preferable to schedule all six lessons now) ◦ Do not overlap conducts during the same time as any other art sessions at your grade level and make every effort to not overlap with other grade levels ◦ The calendar will be maintained on a Localendar sight (a link is available on the Fulton Art Masterpiece Website.) Updates should be submitted to your Grade Level coordinator. Be sure to block 1 ½ hours (15 minute setup/cleanup at the beginning/end) 4

5 Volunteer Guiding Principles  Classroom code of conduct Let the students do a lot of the talking. This is as much about them using their imagination and inquisitive minds as it is about them learning facts about artists and artwork Please do not bring candy or treats to the classroom as we don’t want any students to feel left out  Displaying artwork Be sure to display the art work outside the teachers room after each lesson is completed. Confirm with your teacher if you can use their bulletin board or else use the walls work. Artwork must be 12 inches off the ground and nothing can be adhered to the colored bricks All art lesson creations are to be kept in a student “portfolio” in the teacher’s room after they come down from the walls. The classroom volunteers should create portfolios using the large envelopes in the workroom. Designs are available on the Art Masterpiece Website One art lesson per class will be displayed in the main hallway during the month of May. You will be notified which lesson your class will be displaying to ensure we have a wide variety of displays and also help you prepare for the yearend presentation. For example, some artwork is made into a single masterpiece. If you are displaying this artist for Art Work, you will want to make sure you do not disassemble your presentation prior to May 5

6  All materials you will need will be located on the Fulton Art Masterpiece Website with hard copies available in the grade level binders. The current website off the Fulton School home page is being replaced by a new website at: www.fultonartmasterpiece.weebly.com www.fultonartmasterpiece.weebly.com  The materials will be organized into 8 sections About Art Masterpiece Volunteer Information Artists and Projects Lesson Plans Key Dates/Calendar Annual Programs Art I Facts 6
