2. features hi I'm the leather back sea turtle. I'm the largest sea turtle living. My shell has hundreds of bony plates but they're covered in my leathery skin. I have no teeth but a hard beak to cut my food. I'm 2.4m long and i weigh 900kg. My shell is dark black or brown. Our young have white or yellow spots on their throat and flippers. I have two very large fore flippers that help me paddle though the water. I had a friend who weighed up to a small car.

3. Where Do I Live? I live all over the world. My six continents are Northern Australia South America,North America, Asia,Africa and Europe.I return to were I hatched,but males never returns to land. You can find me in deep tropical waters or cooler waters farther North. I never enter into polar regions.

4. What i eat? I am a fish hunter. I eat jelly fish,plank tonic sea snails,squid,crustace ans, algae,seaweed and soft-bodied,slow moving animals.

5. How i am born I develop in an egg. As an adult I lay my eggs on shore with the help of my long flippers that dig the nest.I take two months to hatch.I lay over summer.the egg IS like an over sized ping pong ball.I lay hundreds of eggs too increase the chance for survival.

6. How i check on my offspring I check several times as my eggs are getting ready to hatch.After my young hatch then I never see Them.

7. My thearts When I was young my threats were the night heron,dogs,crabs,and large fish.Right now I also have to watch out for sharks.I protect myself by swimming farther away from shore.Now that I am an adult,I am much safer from predators.

8. Are you endangered? Yes, sadly I'm endangered.Humans take my eggs, they also kill me for meat or oil I also get tangled in nets. I sometimes swallow plastic bags thinking they are jellyfish.So please help me!
