2 Written Business Proposal Research a local business and make recommenda- tions for how the company’s products or services can be success- fully marketed to Japanese customers or clients.

3 Your target audience can be: Japanese tourists visiting Victoria OR Japanese people living in Victoria temporarily (like students) OR Japanese people living in Japan. If this type of business opened in Japan, how would you market it?

4 Preparing the Proposal Teams will be assigned a Victoria company. Each team will have to: Visit the business to conduct on-site research Interview an employee at the site Do additional research: – Create a survey (5 or more questions; interview 8-12 people) – Look at other similar businesses
