2 Practical Powerpoint for Teachers August 17, 2005, ULM AIRW 223, By Mike Beutner Using a Captured Image in PPT When you see something on your screen that you want to “capture”, hold down the Ctrl key, then press the Print Screen key. Open the “Paint” program. Start => Programs => Accessories => Paint 1.In Paint, paste the image. Edit => Paste 2.A captured image will appear. 3.In Paint, click on the Select button, as shown. 4.Drag your mouse to form a rectangular selection, as shown. 5.Hold down the Ctrl key, then press the C key to copy the selection. 6.Open Powerpoint. 7.Hold down the Ctrl key, then press the V key to paste the selection. 3 2 1 4
