2. Schedule School begins: 8:00 a.m. Students should line up on blacktop. During inclement weather students line up inside the gym. P. E./Conference: 10:30-11:15 Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays – WE do ask that you give us a 24 hour notice prior to meeting with us. Lunch: 12:15-12:50 RBL Dismissal: 3:15 p.m. Students are released next to the Multipurpose Building at the gate.

3. Attendance 90% required Failure to attend 10 or more days or parts of days within a 6 month period or 3 or more days or parts of days within a 4 week period is an offense that may be prosecuted in a Justice of the Peace Court. Absences must be called in the day of the absence before 10:00 am. If absent more than 3 consecutive days, students must be accompanied by a doctor’s note upon their return. Parent Absence Request – A parent request for absences must go through the principal for approval. If not approved, the absences will be unexcused.

4. Tardies 1 st Tardy = Student Warning 2 nd & 3 rd Tardy = Teacher Notifies Parent in Writing 4 th & 5 th Tardy = Teacher Verbally Notifies Parent 6 th Tardy = Detention 7 th Tardy = Office Referral

6. Classroom Rules Rules Come to school on time every day, prepared with materials and homework. Treat self and others with kindness. Raise your hand to speak or to leave seat. Always do your best and complete assignments. Walk in a quiet straight line on the right side of the path. 7. Homework Homework is posted daily. Students are responsible for copying assignments into their planners. Homework is due the next day unless otherwise directed. Parents are required to sign the planners on a DAILY basis. In addition, the planner serves as a communication tool between parents and teacher. Students are expected to Read Every Day for 30 minutes and record it in the planner.

8. A = 90 -100 B = 80 - 89 C = 75 - 79 D = 70 - 74 F = 0 – 69 - Progress reports keep you informed every four weeks. - Report cards are issued every nine weeks. - Parent/Teacher Conferences – October 28 and March 24 Grading Scale (Determined by the Linden Board of Education)
