In French colours are adjectives. This means that when we are describing the colour of something the spelling of the colour can change depending on the gender of the noun.

Task - Write the following phrase in French: A green jumper. Check the gender of the noun. A jumper = un pull = masculine singular noun. 2. Look at the colour grid to check the spelling of the colour green when you want to describe a masculine singular noun.
