2 Tener-to have “Tener” means to have and is used to express things that you have to do

3 Tener + que + inf. To express what someone has to do you conjugate the verb “tener” to correspond with the subject of the sentence, then add “que” and the verb of the action that has to be done in the infinitive form. The infinitive form means that the verb is not conjugated, it ends in “-er”, “-ir” or “-ar”.
