2 Crippled By A Fall  Spiritually speaking, by our sin – Rom. 3:21-25  Crippled, meaning deprived of use and capability  We are helpless! – Eph. 2:1-3

3 Sought By the King  Many do not have any interest in God  But He desires their welfare – Luke 19:8-10  Do you realize that the Lord does not want you to be lost? – John 4:21-24

4 Found In A Far Country  Lo-debar is a city in a wasteland east of the Jordan river. The name literally means, “the place of no bread”  Jesus came so that we could have nourishment – John 6:32-35  Taking us out of desolation – Matt. 18:12-14

5 Saved For Another’s Sake  Understanding that we have done nothing to deserve favor, just like Mephibosheth had done nothing for David  We are acceptable to God if we belong to Jesus – Eph. 1:3-6  It is because of Him that we have any hope – 1 John 2:7-14

6 Restored To the King’s Table  Remember, Mephibosheth was a king’s grandson; he had previously lived well – 2 Cor. 5:17-21  He was restored for the remainder of his lifetime… We can be restored for eternity – Rev. 19:6-9
