Resource Center Russia-India: education, science and technology (in short Russian-Indian Center, RIC) Established under support of Ministry of Science and Eduction, RF on the base of Tomsk State University in 2015 Goals: – to provide “single window” services for realisation of Russian-Indian cooperation in education, science and technology. – to provide information environment and functional structure to escalate Russian-Indian cooperation in education, science and technology.

5. Functions: CONSULTING for Academia, Industry, NGOs on markets, laws/regulations, industries, education systems, public policies in science, technology and innovation, etc. for Governments on current situation and problems # patent getting problem.

6. Functions: MEDIATION in matching partners from Academia, Industry, Science, High-Technology Sector for fulfillment of joint science, education and technological projects. Current projects: – Competition for grants from Russian Science Foundation and Department of Science and Technology (India). – Russian-Indian Association of Institutions of Higher Education.

7. NEXT STEPS: Active involvement of Business and Industry and their Associations (Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia, FICCI, CII etc) in providing demand side of science and technology cooperation (industrial R&D). Accumulation of information on possibilities of cooperation in the fields of technology transfer and innovation. Providing communication platform for Russian and Indian actors of innovation and S&T system for better understanding of possibilities and prospects of cooperation (holding workshops, webinars, conferences, etc.)
