7 The main feature of Dubna SEZ is the possibility to become the centre of international cooperation in the sphere of high technologies. JINR Member States Committee of Plenipotentiaries on its sessions of November 27-28, 2007 and on March 14-15, 2008 has supported the creation of the International innovative nanotechnology centre for JINR Member States and has recommended JINR Directorate to submit necessary documents to the Government of Russian Federation.

8 D.Medvedev has stressed the importance and good perspectives of two large scale projects proposed by JINR: creation in Dubna of the Centre for radiation medicine and of the International innovative nanotechnology centre on the base of JINR and Dubna SEZ. 18 We have in Dubna the good opportunity to create the special economic zone as a real international one – open and dynamic. JINR will help in organizational and technical issues concerning business in SEZ in the sphere of nuclear - physical technologies and IT. JINR Member states have the keen interest in organizing of IINTC.
