5. A stay abroad provides students with relevant skills and qualifications which make them very attractive to companies recruiting newly graduated university graduates. An international perspective and intercultural understanding are extremely important skills in today’s labour market AND they are becoming increasingly important for private businesses in the future.

6. Given a situation where companies have to choose between to equally qualified candidates, 55% would at the end of the day choose the one who has international experience. Only 1% of employers say that they would choose the candidate without the international experience

Be open minded and observe/absorb the “new culture” as much as you can Speak the language as much as you can Embrace every challenge and task you are offered Get a recommendation from your internship Keep track of the skills and qualifications you developed, so you remember them all for your CV when you get back
