4 MIWP-6 tasks and outputs Support development of central INSPIRE registry & software  Provide requirements and set priorities  Test new releases  Define procedures and decision-making rules for a control body for the INSPIRE Registry (form a separate sub-group if needed)  roadmap for INSPIRE Registry development  updated versions of the central INSPIRE registry  procedures and decision-making rules for a control body [currently not included as an output in ToR] Test-bed for connecting national registries to central registry  test-bed for connecting national registries to the central INSPIRE registry including test instances of national INSPIRE registries deployed in different participants’ organisations

5 MIWP-6 tasks and outputs Develop Technical Guidelines / Best Practices for registries and registers, including registry federations, including  architecture for a registry federation  operational procedures for exchanging information between the central and the national registers  exchange formats  APIs  Metadata for registries and registers  Technical Guidelines on how to set up registries and registers for INSPIRE (including connecting to the central INSPIRE registry), covering topics such as versioning, http URIs (while interacting with groups working on this topic elsewhere in the MIF) Participate in technical discussions on implementation issues

6 Scope, duration, completion, effort Limited to the registers currently included in the central INSPIRE registry, in particular for code lists, themes, application schemas and feature concepts Includes the linking of national and community- specific extensions to the central INSPIRE registers Duration: 2014-11-15 to 2015-12-31 Estimated effort: 2 d/m  2d x 12m x 20P  480 Pds = 24 PMs Completion criterion: Technical Guidelines have been developed and endorsed by the MIG
