4 PYP Continued Books were bought by each school to complement both planners and Benchmark Reading Program Google Classroom for district wide professional development was delivered focusing on best instruction practices for planners across the district 4

6 Middle Years Programme  Student Access ◦ School district’s commitment to all students participating in the MYP has had a great impact on student engagement and program implementation.  Development ◦ SSD has made a commitment to the ongoing development of the program. Currently SHS/SMS are going above and beyond expectations.  Curriculum ◦ The increased numbers of students completing the tenth grade personal project highlights one of the many great things the program encourages. ◦ SHS/SMS work to implement standards based grading is leading the way for IB schools across the state!  MYP: The Next Chapter ◦ Upcoming changes in MYP will be closely aligned with the changing expectations from State and Federal education requirements  State Standards  21 st Century Learning Skills 6

7 Middle Years Programme SHS/SMS underwent the IBMYP 5 year evaluation process with great success !  Preliminary feedback from evaluation team.. ◦ Glow: District Commitment to Standards Based Grading ◦ Grow: International Mindedness  Response to feedback will be enacted upon receipt of the evaluation report. 7
