2 Incident, n. Word Families : incidental(adj.) incidentally(adv.). Definition : an event or occurrence Sentence :The incident cost the lives of three passengers.

3 Extemporaneous, adj. ( extemporaneous talk ) Word Families : to extemporize(v.) extemporaneously(adv.) extemporization(n.) Definition : colloquially known as Extemp, is a limited-preparation speech event based on research and original analysis. Sentence : Having an Extemporaneous speech is a big challenge to me.

4 Commentary Noun Mean: an expression of opinions or offering of explanations about an event or situation; anything serving to illustrate a point, prompt a realization, or exemplify, especially in the case of something unfortunate Family words: commentarial(adj.) Origin: Late Middle English, Latin o He does not so much brag about his achievements as offer a running commentary about the wonder of being himself. o My work is not so much a direct commentary as it is an open-ended observation of the absurdities around us.

5 Conformist, noun Def.- A person who follows the customs or rules of a group is a conformist. Other Forms: Conformity, noun Conform, verb But perhaps conformist thinking is what our government would prefer of us as citizens.

6 Revelation, noun Def.- Something revealed or disclosed, especially a striking disclosure, as of something not before realized. Other Forms: Revelational,adj Nonrevelation,n unrevelational,adj Example: Here is an enchanting revelation in the history of medicine.

7 Malleable Adjective Mean: able to be hammered or presses pressed permanently out of shape without breaking or creaking; capable of being extended or shaped by hammering or by pressure from rollers. Family Words: Malleably(adv.), malleability(noun), malleableness(noun), nonmalleable(adj.), un-malleable(adj.) Origin: Middle English, Medieval Latin o She reminds us of who we once were before we replaced hard realities with easily malleable images. o The way the designer layered his looks, with techno sportswear or malleable cloth, was a subtle new riff on a signature style.
