Steps Go to Maps and line tab Acquire electron image with e- button Acquire spectra and ID peaks Select your resolution of choice, right click and set 128x 100 for example Click on drift control Hit “Collect Maps” button. It will ask for filenames for the Bitmaps Then it will ask if you want to refresh reference image, say NO! Now it should collect away and map as shown on first page. 1 2 3 4 5 6

3. End result over 400 frames and 20 minutes and no drift! Si magenta Al is yellow Pb is Cyan Sn is red Cu is green Grey is SEM image This was overlay was done by opening.spd file, hitting map icon towards far right and selecting Choose net counts. Once maps are redrawn select em with Ctrl click and go to “process”  color  substitution overlay
