1 Task Card Templates Choose one slide below each week to create a task card for a Tech Tub station. Make sure to fill in the “Notes” below the task card with your information. Follow the directions below to complete this station activity. This task uses: Common Core State Standards Hatchet Theme Objective: Using Chapter 19 and the Epilogue, you will discuss how they fit into one of the themes of Hatchet. Be sure to cite at least two pieces of evidence. CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.6.2 CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.6.2 Determine a theme or central idea of a text and how it is conveyed through particular details; provide a summary of the text distinct from personal opinions or judgments. 1.Google search an image that matches what you read in Chapter 19 or the Epilogue of Hatchet. Save it to your iPad. 2.Tap the VoiceThread app on ipad. 3.Tap create in bottom left hand corner of the app. Looks like a pencil. 4.Tap the grey cross to create a new voicethread. 5.Choose the photo you downloaded. 6.Tap Done and type your name in the Title line. 7.Tap comment button on the bottom of the screen. 8.Tap the microphone bubble. 9.Record yourself reading your summary of your book. 10.Review your voicethread by clicking the play button at the bottom. 11.When you are finished, click the green save button. 12.Click on the three line in the upper-left. Hit share. Email your voicethread to me.
