2 Review study guide to prepare for tomorrow’s Unit test. Practice questions for tomorrow’s Unit test. Uneven heating of the Earth (because of its curved surface) causes areas of high and low pressure. Wind is the movement of this air from high to low pressure. The climate of the city close to the water would have a smaller range of temperatures because water resists large changes in temperature. It has a high heat capacity.
