2.  Turn in your homework ◦ Lab Safety Contract  What is the Scientific Method?  Marshmallow Spaghetti Lab Challenge

3.  Put your lab safety contract in your homework bin

4.  What steps do scientists take to find the answer to a question they are curious about?  Turn and talk to a partner about the steps you think a scientist would take to answer his/her question.

6.  Each student must work on a plan with their groups.  Although the challenge is conducted in a group, each student is responsible for submitting a separate plan with his/her own analysis.  Your plan must include: ◦ Title ◦ Hypothesis ◦ Materials ◦ An explanation of how to test the experiment ◦ Drawing of the structure to be built ◦ Analysis explaining if the hypothesis was true (at the completion of the lab)
