2. Middle Ages The Middle Ages, is often broken into the Early, High, and Late Middle Ages and includes a bunch of wars, crusades, the Black Death, and the wonderful art, literature, music and philosophy which leads up to the Renaissance. The Middle Ages is the same as the Medieval time and also the Dark Ages because of the amount of wars and the Black Death. These a picture from the Middle Ages

The Early Middle Ages The Early Middle Ages is also called the Dark Ages and also the Late Antiquity, the early medieval era overlaps the period of time in which the western Roman Empire as a governmental entity declined and disappeared. Generally considered to last until the end of the first millennium, the Early Middle Ages witnessed the Carolingian Empire, the Iconoclastic Controversy, Viking raids, and the birth and rapid expansion of Islam in Northern Africa and Spain. 4. The Crusades There were any people that went on the Crusades to reclaim the “Holy Land” of the Christians. The Crusades began in the eleventh century and lasted hundreds of years. These many religious wars affected Europe's relationship with The Eastern side of Europe and Asia, because of the European’s they influenced culture and society, and started the creation of more knightly orders.

5. The Black Death The Black Death, also known as the Black Plague or the Bubonic Plague. People tried so many things to stop the Black Death. They burned homes and villages, blamed the Jews and also thought that it was a punishment from god. If they has burned the bodies (which they didn’t do) they could hae killed some of the disease spreading. The specific incidence of plague that struck Europe in the mid-14th century. No single event in all of medieval history affected so many lives.
