2 What is Alcohol? It is a depressant.
A depressant is a drug that slows brain and body reactions. In slowing the body’s normal reactions, alcohol may cause confusion, decreased alertness, poor coordination, blurred vision, and drowsiness.

5 Your Brain and Alcohol Your brain develops the same way the rest of your body does, over time. It continues to develop till the age of about 21. This is one of the reasons why our is drinking age is 21.

6 Drinking and Driving In Kentucky you can legally drive with a maximum .08% blood alcohol level at the age of 21. Anyone underage can only blow a .02% without having to face any penalties.

7 May 14th, 1988 Carrollton Bus Crash

8 Most horrific bus crash ever.
27 people were killed, 24 children and 3 adults. Mahoney had a 0.24 blood-alcohol content, more than twice the legal limit, drove his pickup the wrong way on Interstate 71 - straight into the bus. The bus gas tank was punctured and exploded. He was released from jail in 1999, after serving 11 years in jail.
