1 1 Nursing Text Orders Nursing Text Orders are always proceeded by >> They should be verified and completed to signify that action has been taken on them. The RTC ones will be verified/completed by Appointment Clerks. This will cause them to drop off the active orders view within the 72 hours we have predefined in the EHR setup parameters.

2 2 1.Highlight the text order you wish to take action on by a left mouse click. 2.Go to the Action dropdown menu 3.Choose Complete – see next slide for complete dialog 4.Then repeat steps 1 and 2, and choose Verify – see next slide for the verify dialog.

3 3 Both actions require you to enter your electronic signature and click OK

4 4 Verify/Complete actions done The order now shows a status of complete. The verify action adds the verifier’s initials under the Nurse or Clerk columns. This is determined by the key a user holds: Nurse - ORELSE Clerk - OREMAS
