MISSION STATEMENT The Community Participation and Action Support Unit is responsible for provision of community support services to citizens of eThekwini Municipal area in order to enable them to influence council decisions which will lead to improved co-operation and partnership between citizens and council.

3. OUTCOME Community structures, vulnerable groups and various stakeholders actively participating in Council decision-making process.

4. Core Outputs Provide strategic direction in the following areas:- Community Participation Support: Support community structures and various stakeholders so that they can actively participate in Council decision making processes.

5. Cont. of Core Outputs Community Action Support: Provide direct services and support to Vulnerable Groups to enable them to take action to improve their standard of living. Policy Development and Implementation Monitoring:
