2 Journal  Complete these two prompts all by yourself with your own brain power!! 1. write a sentence correctly using a semicolon 2. write an example of an oxymoron

3 Due  Oates “Against Nature” annotations  Partner-score & record on rubric  Short conversation: main idea, construction  Turn in rubrics

4 Partner Work With your partner, complete the following tasks. Use one piece of notebook paper with both your names on it. Turn this in today. 1) Write down the author, title, and date of each of the four “nature” texts. For each text, write two concrete nouns, one abstract noun, and two significant quotes with proper in-text citations. 2) Write a paragraph in which you compare and contrast the four nature texts studied in this part of the unit. Be thorough in your analysis. When you finish – work time for nature rhetorical précis.
