2 “ Ain’t I a Woman” *Purpose – To emphasize the inequality of rights for men and women. *Author – Sojourner Truth *Prominent Rhetorical Device Used – Irony *Sojourner mentions the first woman, Eve. What rhetorical device is this? Why does she mention Eve? She is showing the power of one woman to give that strength to other women.
