3 EUSTRESS SOME EXAMPLES: Meeting or engaging in a challenge. Coming in first place in a race. Getting a promotion at your job. Love, marriage, Sexual intercourse or childbirth. Engaging in exercise, especially weight training. Good stress that helps us perform better.

4 DISTRESS Stress can be created by influences such as work, school, peers or co-workers, family and death. Bad stress that makes us upset or sick.

6 6 TYPES OF STRESS 1.PHYSICAL STRESS: exercise, injury 2.EMOTIONAL STRESS: relationships, anger 3.SOCIAL STRESS: compliments/embarassment 4.INTELLECTUAL STRESS: mental fatigue, challenging problem 5.SPIRITUAL (MORAL) STRESS: doing a good deed/guilt 6.ENVIRONMENTAL STRESS: irritations of everyday life.
