2. The Design Problem
You have been set a design problem by a company that design and manufacture quality and unique pendants. They want to introduce a new range called ‘inspired by...’ Your challenge is to design and make a pendant to add to this range.

You will be given a piece of MDF to cut out the shape your design (80mm*80mm) using the CAM milling machine.
These moulds will then be used to cast the product from Pewter.
You must select who you are going to design the pendant for and how it could be marketed.

7. Situation
The problem of cats scratching furniture can be especially bad if the cat is a housecat, as the opportunities for the cat to scratch trees etc are not available.
