Theodore Roosevelt’s “Bull Moose” Party took votes from the Republican Party and allowed Democrat Woodrow Wilson to win the election of 1912.
Abraham Lincoln’s “Republican” Party took advantage of a split Democratic Party to win the election of 1860
H. Ross Perot’s “Reform” Party took enough votes from the Republican Party to help Democrat Bill Clinton win the election of 1992
