3 Biography Rachael Ray RR  Rachael Domenica Ray, born August 25, 1968, Glenn Falls, NY  Background from Italy and Louisiana  Never had professional training but family owned many restaurants in Cape Cod, Mass.  Travelled to New York, NY, for job, moved back to Lake George after a few years  Became food buyer for Cowan and Lobel, given title “chef”  Eventually broke away, started her own business
