3  Plant cells have a bricklike structure (as shown) enabling them to stand, since a plant has no bones, unlike an animal.  Plants use photosynthesis to get their food, which is made in the chloroplast of the cells, like a kitchen.  Only plant cells have cell walls (which protect the cell and strengthen it) and chloroplasts. nucleus  The cell membrane is shown in the picture as thin yellow line on the inside of the cell wall, the green layer.

4 A animal cell does not have chloroplasts or a cell wall, only a plant cell has these organelles. The animal cell has a more round shape then the plant cell, because the plant cell has the brick formation.

5  The cell membrane like the gatekeeper it lets things in and out of the cell. The cell membrane is in both the plant and animal cell.  The cytoplasm contains the chemicals needed to keep the cell and its organelles healthy.  The nucleus is like the brain of the cell; it tells the rest of the cell what to do.  The mitochondrion releases the energy from the food photosynthesis to nourish the rest of the cell.  The vacuole stores food, water, or waste.  All these organelles are found in animal and plant cells.
