Pathways Pediatric Therapy provides the highest quality of therapy for children faced with the challenge of mastering sensory or developmental skills.

Pathways Pediatric Therapy
We focus on each child’s unique abilities and create a program specialized to each individual. Our practice helps caregivers incorporate successful strategies in the home to allow continuity and the highest functionality in all areas of a child’s life.
4
Pathways Pediatric Therapy
Our goal is to identify and create a treatment plan which incorporates each child’s preferred learning style and to develop a program optimal to each child in a fun and nurturing environment.

Touch High sensitivity Low sensitivity Hands are on everything
Avoids messy play Dislikes tags or certain fabrics Dislikes grooming Low sensitivity Hands are on everything

Occupational Therapy provides sensory input to enhance or counteract how the nervous system processes information.

OT Treatment Includes Self Regulation Sensory Diet Work with Family
Individual Skills Fine motor Gross motor Oral motor Body position and strength Handwriting

Without Sensory Integration Therapy
The issues may become magnified as we grow older Avoidance Compensation Withdrawal from overwhelming activities. Interferes with daily life Increased reactivity and isolation.
22
Sensory Integration Therapy
