2. Task for today is …. For all students to ensure that all work issued over the past two weeks is completed in full. This includes the Football Tournament or Concert Tour and The Human Rights poster, leaflet or power point.

3. Once all tasks are completed.. Carry out research for prices of travel, accommodation, food and expenses, to cost out several types of family holiday. Produce a travel brochure with your findings. Save the work under Module 4B5.

4. What do families like to do on holidays?

5. Students to think about.. Suitable destinations – is the holiday adventure, camping/caravanning, beach, skiing Accommodation – hotel, bed and breakfast, tent, caravan, boat Activities – water sports, swimming pool, historical buildings Transport – plane, train, car, boat. Don’t forget when you get there is it easy to get around or will you need a car, bicycle Other important factors – Does the accommodation cater for your diet? Do you need baby equipment such as a cot, highchair or food warming facilities.

6. Produce a travel brochure with your findings.. Include: The name of the resort The duration of the holiday The activities available Type of food Currency used Say why the holiday is suitable for a family

7. Students can produce this work on either: Microsoft Word or Microsoft Publisher or Microsoft Power point It must be informative, colourful and relevant to family holidays. It must include three (3) different types of family holiday. For some students the PDF documents on Moodle can be used to record the information.
