5 Why the subsidy? 8 Travel subsidy will be paid at the following rate. 100% subsidy at a rate of 20c per km for members on Newstart, Austudy, or Pension or other low fixed income, or no income- i.e. underage, while engaged in rescue and transport of wildlife and compliant with section 1 50% subsidy at a rate of 20c per km for all other members engaged in rescue and transport of wildlife and compliant with section 1,
