5 In fourth grade, you can join band. Mrs. Gibson has a dog named Zoey. On Day D, we have chorus. I like to ride bike with my friends.

9 The BIG Question: What are interjections and how do I use them in a sentence ?

10 * Interjections are words or phrases that express strong feelings such as surprise. * Interjections are set apart from the rest of the sentence, usually by an exclamation mark or comma.

11 Wow, that was a great game! Ouch! I stubbed my toe. Bravo, you did great! Hey! The ball’s headed right for you!

12 Hooray! We won the game. Oh! That really scared me. Yeah! The Phillies won the game. Yikes! There’s a bug on you!
