2 Click on EBooks.

3 Click on Ebrary.

4 You first need to download the Ebrary Reader to assure best viewing and functionality. Click Here.

5 Note the System Requirements. Click Here.

6 You have the option of doing a Simple Search, Advanced Search, or Browse. Click Simple Search.

7 First do a Simple Search. The simple search allows you to quickly search for a word or phrase. You will retrieve titles, subjects, authors, or publishers. Use the Advanced Search to refine your search. Click on Search. Enter your search terms.

8 Since you are really looking for books on the effect of adoption on family relationships, you clearly need to do an Advanced Search. Click Advanced Search.

9 Next do an Advanced Search. You can search within the text, title, subject, author, and publisher. You can limit by type of document and language. You cannot limit by date. Click on Search.

10 These titles look more promising. Take a look at Birth Fathers and Their Adoption Experience. Click on View.

11 The Contents allows you to select the section you are most interested in. It will take you to the full-text of the book. Also use the Subject Index to navigate through the book. Copyright prevents us from showing the full-text in this tutorial.

12 By expanding the Contents you can select the specific chapter. You can advance page by page by clicking on the arrows above. Click on the Arrow.

13 Browse allows you to peruse the subjects available. Click on Social Sciences

14 Continue to refine your subject. Click on The family. Marriage. Women. Note the number of books available on this subject.

15 Continue to refine your subject. This type of search is not as precise as those demonstrated earlier. Click on Parents...

16 Note that we retrieved the same book that we looked at Previously. Again click on View.

17 You can print 5 pages at a time and a total of 40 pages per session. You can close out the session and reenter again to print additional pages.
