3. Latitude  Lines that run across the grid.  The flat lines!  The equator is a line of latitude.  The equator divides the earth into 2 hemispheres (North and South)

4. Longitude  The lines that run up and down.  The “tall” lines!  Longitude lines also called meridians.  The prime meridian divides earth into 2 hemispheres (East and West)

5. Latitude/Longitude  The prime meridian is the 0 point of Longitude  The equator is the 0 point of Latitude
