5 Thesis Judy Chicago and Miriam Schapiro were provided with context for personal and meaningful teaching experiment, they took the experience of transforming young women art students into young women artist by using a circular teaching method and provided young women art students the opportunity to prove themselves as serious artists and express their feminism through their success in art.

7 History of Womanhouse: Conception “What would happen, we asked, if we created a home in which we pleased no one but ourselves? … what if each woman were to develop her own dreams and fantasies in one room of the home? The idea seemed like a good one”

They shook their heads wisely when they looked at the bridal piece. The shoe closet was familiar, the menstruation bathroom belonged to them, the stockings were theirs…” (270)
