4 Amendment IV Search and Seizure: Must have probable cause and get a search warrant in order to search someone’s property (including cars and homes)

5 Amendment V Rights of a person accused of a crime. You are allowed to “plead the 5 th ” to avoid self- incrimination. You do not have to confess to crimes!

6 Amendment VI Rights to a fair and speedy trial for people accused of a crime

7 Amendment VII Trial by jury in civil suits

8 Amendment VIII Bail and Punishment: No “cruel and unusual” punishments!
