2. Let me paint you a picture You are going to describe a picture to another group. The other group is going to draw a picture from your description. In your group you must assign responsibilities. Choose from the following list. Each person must have a responsibility. One person cannot have more than one responsibility! Find a fair way to assign responsibilities to your group. ▫Writer: Writes the group’s description ▫Artist: Draws a picture based on the description of another group ▫Speaker: Reads the group’s description to another group ▫Timekeeper: Watches the time and keeps the group on task to make sure you finish on time! 3. Part I Basic DirectionsGetting Started In the first part of this activity, everyone helps to describe the picture. (I will give you a picture soon.) The writer records the group’s description. D O NOT SHOW YOUR PICTURE TO OTHER GROUPS ! What do you see? ▫There is… There are… Adjectives: Please take 3 minutes to write as many adjectives as you can. 4. Part II You meet with another group. Do not show the other group your description or your picture. Round 1: One group describes its picture and the other group draws. Round 2: Switch roles. ▫The group that drew first now describes the picture I gave them to the group that described first. Then you will have time to compare the original picture to the new one.
