5 Learning Objective eight AIDSA Law Enforcement Guide 4.1 Learning Objective: Participant will be able to list the eight general infection control procedures as outlined by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement, “ Facts on AIDS : A Law Enforcement Guide ”.

6 4.1 8-Generational Infection Control Procedures 1. 1. Use disinfectants such as: a. isopropyl a. 70% isopropyl alcohol b. b. one part bleach to ten parts water c. waterless c. waterless soap 2. soapy 2. Wash hands after contact with bodily fluids with hot, soapy water.
